課程概述 |
1. 本課程為「中級一B」課程，提供給經由本校分班測驗判定適合學習中級一B課程者。
2. 本課程使用的教材為《實用視聽華語第三冊》（第八課至第十四課），搭配教師自編講義，旨在培養學習者「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，使學生生活不因語言不通而有障礙。此外，盼透過課堂上的互動與討論，使學生進一步了解華語及台灣文化。

課程目標 |
1. 學生能學習處理日常生活事務的基本表達能力，並能運用課程所學，說明自己的想法。
2. 學生能對經濟、環保、交通、文化等話題進行討論，並了解華人文化與思想。
3. 學生能讀、寫正體字，且聽、說兩項能力達到課程標準。 |

課程要求 |
1. 每次上課，請攜帶課本與講義。
Bring all the materials when you come to class.
2. 上課時，請說中文，不說英文及其他非中文的語言。
Please use Chinese exclusively in class.
3. 上課時，請積極參與課程討論與活動，聽老師和同學的發言與討論。不該做其他和課程無關的事情。
Participate in classroom activities and class discussion is essential. Please do not engage in other things that are not related to the course during class hour.
4. 上課期間，若非本課程需要，請勿使用手機、電腦等電子產品，並請將手機轉為震動或靜音。
Please do not use cell phone, laptop, iPad and any electronic devices during the class (except asked by the instructor for class activities). Phones must be set on silent mode during class time.
5. 請尊重老師和同學。如果上課時，發生同學之間，或師生之間的爭執，或是上課時學生離題、發表歧視言行的情況，教師將視情況打斷學生發言，以維護課程順利進行。
Be respectful of each other in classroom, Topics discussed in class should be related to the course. If students argue with classmates or the teacher in class, which is effect on the class going on smoothly, the teacher will end the topic anytime. Or, if students talk too much to stray into the topic is not related to the course, the teacher also will interrupt them anytime.
※ 以上規定列入平時成績，要是違反規定，經老師警告三次後，第四次開始扣分。每次每項扣1分。
All requirements mentioned above are related to the score under “Attendance and Performance”. Any violation will be warned by the instructor in person. Start from the 4th offence, one point will be deducted each time for the violation of the class requirements. |

Attendance
要是你不能來上課，請你：
1. 兩天以前寫email 或是 對老師說你不能來。
2. 要是你沒來上課已經12個小時，你就拿到F。
(Total absences for any reason cannot exceed 12 hours or an F will be received.)
3. 要是你生病的話，沒上課的時間可以比12個小時多，可是要給老師看醫生證明（doctor’s note）
(Sick leave can be taken for over 12 hours but a doctor’s note is always required.)
4. 上課晚到20分鐘 或是 早一點離開 20分鐘，就是少來一個小時（-1小時）
(Late for class or leaving class early (20 minutes) will be counted as 1 hour.) |

1. 上課請聽老師說，也要跟同學說話、練習。（Students should pay attention on what the teacher is teaching, practicing and discussing with classmates.）

Homework
1. 作業：老師上課的時候會給你，如果你沒有來上課，請問同學或是來跟老師拿作業。(Homework will be given in class. If you miss the class, please come to the instructor or ask your classmates.)
2. 學了一課，就要給老師作業。沒有寫完的人，晚給老師的人，成績是A-~E( 82~1分)。三天以後給老師作業，老師就不要你的作業，也就是0分。(Homework should be hand in after each lesson. If you did not finish your homework or hand in the homework late, score will be between A-~E( 82~1point) .* Late work after three days will not be accepted, the score will be 0 point.*) |

學了兩課以後，我們小考。（Tests will be held after every two lessons.）
要是你考試以前請假，你可以在下一次上課以前考試，請找老師討論。 (If you have taken a leave on a test day, a make-up test can be taken before next class. Please discuss with the instructor)
2. 聽寫：Dictations 5%
每課有1個聽寫，可是聽寫不能再考一次。(Also, we will have 1 dictation quiz for each lesson, but there are no make-up sessions for missed dictations.) |

考聽、說、讀、寫。Listening, writing and oral skills will all be tested in the midterm exam.
※ 期中考、期末考你不能來考試，請你一定要先跟老師說，我們可以找一個別的時間考試，可是考試要10% off。要是你沒跟老師說，或是考試的那天早上跟老師說，你的考試是0分。(If you would like to take a leave on Midterm or final exam day, please inform the instructor earlier. Students could take a make-up exam but the grades will be 10% off. If you inform the instructor on the day of the exam, your score will be 0 point.) |
